Help with round picture frame

So I would like to create a round picture frame but in the middle it would have the Tree of Life with the branches and roots holding the tree in the center of the frame. As a very basic user I may be getting in over my head so looking for any help possible. I noticed that pro version has the tree I could use and I can use a simple circle but have no idea how to combine them and cut them out to form and frame that would hold a piece of round glass.

I get a lot of questions on how to do this, see pictures below. Fatten Type You can use the Offsetter app to Fatten type. After you fatten it select all and fill.
