would love a new challenge. I couldnāt get going on the fidget spinner (too much at end of year with work) but now Iām freeād up.
Interesting interestingā¦OK so Iām hearing interest in gift cardsā¦and maybe some interest in fidget spinners
Hey @BobJewell that isnāt the gift card youāre looking forā¦
Iāve been wanting to do a beer tote contest for a while nowā¦
I am interested as we are not on mandatory overtime like the end of last year.
How about something āmechanicalā? Clocks, gears, gidgets, gizmos? Something non-āflatā. Even things like the āScroogeā Xmas book from before. Kick it up a notch.
Checked on Kickstarter for some ideasā¦ here are a fewā¦
Maybe a fidget spinner out of this one as wellā¦

Always up for a good contest! Letās do something different, we already had a spinner contest. Anyone up for something with PCB boards, Acrylic, Metal?
Love the idea. I am very new to the group and welcome the challenge
Just thinking flat pack type stuff (lawn chair) (table) (storage box) etc. etc, I would bet there would be some wild ideals made here.
So, in my mind, there are two kinds of contests. First is a contest to get beginners to stretch themselves and to make something they may not necessarily have known they could do. Thatās very valuable in and of its own right for the community. The stamp contest was a perfect example of that.
The second type of contest is to get the āUsual Suspectsā to make something extraordinary to show the world what can be done with Easel/X-Carve. The fidget spinner contest was an example of that since a lot of the entries involved machining materials not for sale on the Inventables website (i.e. aluminum). Both have their separate and distinct benefits for Inventables and the community.
Just something to think aboutā¦
game on
Oops, sorry. Been a while since I shopped for materials hereā¦
