Y-axis consistently inaccurate

I have an issue with the accuracy of measurements. My X-Carve Pro design has a series of lines spaced 1" apart (think like a ruler or tape measure). When my carving runs, these parallel lines are not 1" apart but 3/4" consistently.

I am on a new SainSmart ProVerXL4030 with a 1010 rail extension. The Prover 4030 is one of the “built-in” 3rd party machines in X-Carve Pro so I thought that once selected, everything would be synchronized between software and hardware.

What could be causing this? It it were an old machine, or erratic, I would suspect something slipping, but it is consistently off throughout the whole project.

Help!!

I’d guess that you probably have to change your steps per mm setting.
