Hey so I upgrade my z axis with an aftermarket kit.
it came with magnetic proximity switches that id like to use. They have 3 wires instead of 2.
I have 2 switches will would allow for z-max and z-min, but not sure how to wire these to x controller.
Maybe someone has done exactly this and may have pictures.

Actually I do think I have a way to solve the problem. It’s untested, but I don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t work.
I decided to wire up a homing switch with 2 wires to keep me from spending time on it.
Really what you need to do is add a power bridge for negative and positive power coming from the power supply inside the x controller.
The x controller board is quite clever, and leaves you with 2 positive and negative terminals to run a power bridge to.
You could also, have another 24v power supply near by.
Your signal wire coming off the sensor would go into X Y or Z input on the X controller.
