After working 80+ hours a week for the past 2 months. I have only had the x-carve a few months and have had little to no time to figure many of the ins and outs of it.
I finally had a few hours today to work with the machine.
I readjusted all 4 of the z axis v-wheels, tightened all 3 belts and did some overall fine tuning.
The end result was just what I was hoping for. I have some adjusting to do on the text but am happy with the finished product.
The cuts were clean and the surface was smooth and flat.
Yes, this forum is amazing. Honestly, when I was on the fence about purchasing the x-carve this forum was one of the deciding factors in my pulling the trigger. I was a bit intimidated with the machine but saw the support and help here.
