Hopefully this is the correct sub for this question.
looking to build a subwoofer box for my truck and want to do rounded corners as my last truck I simply made a wedged box and corners were annoying at times. Found that car audio fabrications has templates to use on a table router but figured since I have an xcarve, I’d just use that. However, I can’t figure out how to create the shape in easel. Tried combining half circles with rectangles to create the 3/4” offset, pen tool and combination of those. Can’t figure it out lol.
Any input or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
This is what I am trying to do.

Probably the easiest way to get a curved slice like that is to start with a rectangle with rounded corners, subtract a smaller rectangle from that (you’ll have to do some math for the right dimensions), then subtract away two of the sides.
I quickly mocked it up here. It’s 4 steps from the top-left. The second step is the 2 top left shapes combined and the final shape is the 3 bottom left shapes combined.
Take a look at these…I have recreated the 3” - 8” templates. My suggestion, you can either create 1 of each as a template and do as the video showed, or just plot all those you need onto a surface and let Easel cut them all for you and then stack them using .25” dowel pins/

Thank you! I was at it for hours, complicating it every step of the way lol. I eventually got something close by doing something similar to what you mentioned. Thank you so much for the input!
