Old xcarve pre 2016 power signal

Ya I checked it im wondering if my boards are bad? Of if mine is diffrent them m3 for some reason?

Not sure but the only thing i can think of is that $30 setting. Have you checked in on the Lightburn forums to see what they have to say?

How are you testing the laser?
An M3 won’t turn it on unless the machine is in motion.

Ok I hit the fire laser button in light burn. Also try to engrave and laser never turns on.

So is there any outher way of testing?

I’m using an Ortur laser on a Arduino/GShield and I have to disconnect/reconnect USB and set $32=1 via a Macro in Lightburn to get my laser to initialize and fire properly. After that it works great until the Arduino is powered off.

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it if. I understood it correctly I had to unplug then replug in the USB and set 32 to 1. that’s what I did what I did and still nothing.

Ended up being the arduino uno board. Couldn’t get a signal out of it. Took the chance and replaced it with a new one solved the problem.
