New User - Information about x-controller mount

Hi everyone, I am new to the x-carve world.
In a couple of days, I receive my x-carve 1000 and I have a question:

In every photo, I see the X controller mounted on the left side of x-carve is possible to mount it on the right side?

The reason, I believe, the controller is mounted on the left is due to the wire management. The cable chain runs to the left side. In theory, yes, you could mount it on the right.
