I have a problem I hope to solve

Hi
I’m having a problem with making a project as it is in the link
Easel - Untitled

At the beginning of the work, the spindle makes the first hole in the correct way and performs its work. When moving to the second hole, here is the problem, as the spindle moves to the required place, which is 5 cm, but the drilling is not carried out along. Rather, the operation is done above the site approximately 2 cm and gradually descends, as well as the third operation, which forces me If I do the surgery, I don’t know why
I also redefined and programmed the device as new, as well as to no avail
May I know the possible causes?

It’s the depth of the original hole correct?
Is the Z motor shaft coupler loose? Loose set screw?
If you jog your Z up 100mm and then back down 100mm, do you end up at the starting point?

I have been having the same issues ever since I have upgraded the z axis to direct drive. Ill be curious to see what you find out as I have tried nearly everything and still have the same outcome. Very close to going back to my old z axis or selling the entire machine and getting something new.

Now watching your video mine hasnt been that bad but over the course of a few holes or pocket cuts the depth becomes less and less

Yes, dear, I tried in various ways to no avail, and I still haven’t even deleted a line and ran.

I see your z axis assmebly appears to be mounted too high.

Lower the z axis assembly to resolve the abive noted issue.

@RobbBillman yours may have the same issue…

It’s the depth of the original hole correct?

Yes

Is the Z motor shaft coupler loose? Loose set screw?

No …
Because in every process it performs correctly and when moving it goes wrong

If you jog your Z up 100mm and then back down 100mm, do you end up at the starting point?

No
Because I will make 169 hole drills

I suspect that the new update is the reason, I hope I’m wrong
