Grease fittings can't be used?

Am I crazy, or are there no easily available grease fittings that will work on this machine?

I understand that Inventables sells a cheap-o greasing kit that is $40 once shipped, but I’d rather not spend that much just because the fittings are too close to put a coupler on.

Has anyone found a coupler that works with this machine? I feel like I’m missing something, since everything I’ve found is over 1/2" wide, and there’s only enough clearance for about a 4" coupler.

Yes, but they can’t be accessed with a normal tool.

They are outlined in the maintenance procedures here.

I finally gave up doing it “correctly”, and just pushed the flexible tube on the fitting while squeezing the trigger. It was a lot messier, but I did get grease into the fittings.
