I am having a hard time getting the detail of the bursting bomb in the center of this Marine chevron.

I don’t need all the detail but something other than a blob in the middle. And how to separate the third stripe down from top from the first “rocker”?

Did you try a 2 stage carve using a 1/8 or 1/16 bit for roughing and v bit for the detail

Yes i just dont think the bomb in the center is detailed enough, and having a hard time doing it
