Just a little fun on a Thursday night. I always try to close the door to the shop when I go in, but pets can be persistent!
Obviously, as you can see, I wasn’t doing anything with my X-Carve tonight, so it was the perfect spot for my mascot to lay. He loves a good torsion top - he’s a big cat and it doesn’t sag under his weight!
Just finished my X, Y and Z axis stiffening mods and am looking forward to firing her up tomorrow. The mascot will have to find somewhere else to lay!

Whipped this out this morning
It’s carved on a piece of 66 cent linoleum tile I spray painted black, I was in a hurry to try it and the paint was still a little tacky

Here’s another made from the same stuff
Made this silly walk sign from a piece of 66 cent linoleum tile I got at HD. Cut it to size and spray painted blue.

D.O.C .025 (one pass)
Feed Rate 90 ipm
Bit 1/16" (Dia.) Double Flute Straight Bit (freud)
Cut time about 8 minutes
Phil, It 1/8" thick need to use a backer board of some kind with it
