When engraving letters only part of the letters in grave but on the board shows the whole letter please help Also where does one buy supplies metal, wood, etc. Thank you in advance
Are you using a v-bit and how deep of cut are you using? Reason I ask is if your spindle is not parallel to your waste board across the whole cut you will get different depth of cuts. Before shimming my waste board and clamping the frame to the table I had upto .2" difference in some places.
Iām sure some others will chime in that know a lot more than I do.

your bit might be to large for the entire area of the letter you are trying to carve?
