Drill hole function not working

Hi folks,

I have a fairly simple project that needs some designs and holes. The holes are to be 1/8" cut all the way through. I read up on the function, and watched the videos, but it simply will not work.
When I simulate the carve, it shows the bit cutting the hole, but when I attempt to carve, i get a “there is nothing to carve” error message.

I will attach the project below. As an FYI, I have reduced the carve depth to zero for 3/4 of the project as I want to do a quick test carve for one before running it for the rest of the project.

hole depth is set to 3/4" to match the material. Size of hole is 00.00" and not able to change it, but according to the instructions that I have read, it automatically sets to the bit size (there is a 1/8" bit being used)

any advice?

I learn this stuff by trying to help. I copied your project. I would try two things. I’d explode the elements around the hole including the hole. It’s hard to tell what is being highlighted when it is being clicked on.

Then you have to select the holes first, as you probably know, to use the drilling app.

If this were giving me a headache. I’d do two files. One for just the holes. The other just for the graphical carves.

The other thing is since the holes are drilled from the top down, are they at the top or bottom of the material?

I’d also check the cut depth of the various elements.
