CNC will not jog or home

Machine operated properly until I down powered the controller and unplugged the Limit Switch connector. I replaced the limit switch, reconnected the wiring harness and powered up the controller. Connected to the controller with PC, tested all switches, tried to jog and home the machine. The machine would not move. The controller fan is on, I receive a time out message when trying to home. I verified all connections. I rebooted PC and controller several times and various scenarios as completely unplugging all AC connections and reconnecting, unplugging the motors while power was off and reconnecting prior to power on state. I even tried a spare motor. I do have connection from the PC to the Controller. I have used Easel as well as GSender. Results are the same.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. TIA

Could you have hit the E STOP when you were working on it?

I actually did . However, i made sure it was disengaged and the power light on the controller is on and the fan is on. The program is connected to the controller as well.

In Easel Press Ctrl+Shift+D to access the machine inspector page to see what the cnc “state” is and whether there are any active alarms. If so what is the alarm number shown in the console are of this page.
If there are no alarms, please scroll to the bottom and copy all of the grbl settings and post them here, if these are incorrect it can effect the machine operation…

Some of your settings are incorrect for your model cnc, seems to become reset to grbl defaults that arent actually correct for the xcarve…

John, when you disconnected the limit switch and reconnected it are you sure you connected the wires back to the correct terminals i.e. the Com and the NC? this would show as an open limit in the machine inspector. if you had no faults in machine inspector then disregard.
