im looking for a V carve bit that is capable of cutting through a minimum of 1" thick of hdme plastic
& Also what is the best type of flutes to have for plastics & woods etc ?

Take a look here (Search Results+) - they have a useful filter selector for different bits by material type. You can then by from them, or elsewhere as you desire.

do some testing to make sure the bit isn’t clogging or melting the plastic. I hear (but haven’t tried) that faster feed rates are better.
