Buying materials to use on my X-Carve 1000mm

I see there is a large selection in the online store and I guess the prices are ok, Im not
sure of prices other places but like to support this online store if I can.

I buy all my materials local… I’m lucky enough to have a nice hardwood dealer, acrylic and aluminum distributors within a 2-mile radius of my office.

Buying local lets you see & feel your material before you buy… Just google ā€œacrylic dealers near meā€ (or whatever material you’re looking for).

If you have to buy online i think you’ll find Inventables shipping cost is very reasonable.

I’m not sure if it’s against the forum rules… but if you need other sources i could post some of my favorite online stores.

Thanks for info. I have the normal store Depot and Lowes but not the best wood.
I will do some searching around the net. Not sure what Amazon might have too.
One thing I like about 3D printing, material is easier to ship:) Im getting into that
aswell and looking at a gCreate 1.5 XL unit an a few others but want to buy in
USA and gCreate is.

Where do you guys live?

Im in Bradenton, Fla.

I’m in SLC, Utah…

Here is my Acrylic dealer… I would suggest them over anything Amazon has  http://www.delviesplastics.com/

Delvie Plastic has good prices, have you had them cut sheets to size for you? Curious if they polish the edges or not.

Thanks, guys!

When i have them cut sheets for me in the store i don’t get the edges polished. The people that work there are super nice… if it’s not an option when ordering online give them a call.
