# X-axis only moves to the left with either jog button

I have just completed assembly of my X-carve and am new to cnc. When testing the stepper motors in easel the y and z axis respond correctly but the x axis will only move to the left whether the forward or back jog button is pressed. I have no idea as to how to troubleshoot this problem. Thanks for any help.

Check for a loose connection or a short on the X-Axis.
