I don’t have an X-Carve, so I usually don’t give Feedrate advice, but I’d go faster too. You’re barely removing material there.
Neil would you recommend a higher router speed for cutting 3mm MDF too?
When I do plywood v-carving, after the first run, I clean off all the dust to see what it looks like. If there is fuzz on the carving I will run the program a second time. The second run might not get all the fuzz but will do wonders in how it looks. There is no improvement with running a third time.
Remember leave the piece clamped until you verify how good it looks.

If your total depth of cut is 1.5, try doing a finishing cut at 1.55 and see how the edges turn out. I have found with the V-bit the finishing cut makes a huge difference.
