# Upgrading Xcarve 1000

Hello yall. Upgrading my xcarve 1000 Z axis to HGR20 Linear Motion Rails and Bearing Slide Blocks. Can anyone tell me the correct spacing of the holes in order to match the bearings. I am drilling these holes in the mounting plate… As I measure them they are 26mm apart. Does any company sell a pre-drilled mounting plate?? Thanks

Your best options for the plate are to either download a shared community template (like a DXF/STEP file from **here** or the OpenBuilds forums) and have it cut cheaply by a service like SendCutSend, or buy a pre-assembled Z-axis linear slide module on eBay or Amazon that already has the rails, block, and lead screw integrated.
