# T slot extrusion for 1000mm

So I am very new to the x carve world and I am looking at upgrading my waste board to the aluminum tslot extrusion for my 1000mm machine, has anybody done this that has a list of the size of the material they bought? And which ones to get (thickness)

Your probably going to find a lot of information if you search “t slot”. Not only will you come across material sources, but methods in which users have attached/mounted theirs.

I haven’t done this yet, but it is at the top of my list of things I want to do. My original wasteboard is still in pretty good condition and works well for me. I’m sure that day will come.
