# System Requirements for running EASEL and other CARVE software

I want to purchase a CARVE System but before I do I want to know if the software and the CARVE system itself will run on a Chromebook which would be a dedicated computer system for running the overall CARVE system. I am knew to this so please be kind and consider that I am not a computer expert!

I’d actually be curious myself to know if a chromebook would work. I know it has some linux support but no clue if it’s enough to work with easel or other standard linux softwares used for CNC. Anyone have one laying around to test?
