# Setting up practice carve with x carve

We just set up our xcarve and went to try the initial practice carve but when we hit “carve” its saying “we cant find your machine” we have triple checked everything but can’t find a solution…

Did u install driver. U may have to actually go into your operating system and activate the driver. Had a similar issue and that’s what I had to do. I had to google it for my system- it has to do with usb connection.
