This seems like a really silly question but I haven’t found the answer to it, so I am going to ask.
Do I HAVE to setup the machine every time I turn on my X-Carve?
Or, does it retain the settings and I should only have to change the settings if something changes?
I’ve been using it for about 3 months and setting it up everytime I use it.

You only need to do that the first time. It’s writing basic configuration settings to the g-code headers for all your future projects. 
If you are forced to setup each time, check browser cashe settings.

I didn’t think I had to, but one of my early projects didn’t turn out right… so I thought maybe I had to and have been doing it ever since.
No, I wasn’t forced to… just had a problem early on and thought that might have been why.
I appreciate the thought though.
