# Saving the machine set up values

If you go through the X carve set up procedure, those grbl settings will be saved. To access them you type $$ in the Easel Console window after clicking Machine/Advanced/Machine Inspector…when logged into easel.

If you are using UGS, then you type $$ into the command window and the list of GRBL settings will come up.
