# New Easel drive 0.3.18 Mac, Windows keeps wanting to be installed

We have an x-carve in our maker space that in the last week easel wants 0.3.18 installed, even though we installed it several times. even reimaged windows machine. We have searched forums and tried the solutions provided. no dice.

Any solutions? Tuesday is next access day.

Call Inventables support team. I had the same issue before and they walked me through the fix. It had something to do with the windows defender settings.
