did you measure runout?
yes i did, it was about 0.34 mm witch is to be expected
I’m looking for the thread size on the Makita spindle. Do you happen to remember what it was? I saw one place reference M17-1 and another 5/8-20.
Can you please share the thread size you made to fit the Makita? I need to buy a tap for it and would appreciate more details. and just confirm what is the overall length of the B10-ER16? Thank you.
OMG. You don’t experience vibration? I would consider this much runout to be totally unacceptable.
I bought one and measured it with Caliper. it is M17 and 1mm Pitch for you or anyone out there who might want to try this out. all the other solutions are limited. this is challenging to thread considering the runout.
