Hi all, I made a small round box, and am trying to make a lid. I need to carve out a circle about 4mm deep and 10 mm wide around outside but leave the middle raised .
reverse to the photo. hope someone will be able to help.

@FredHoneyman, check this out and see if it will work for you. Note that the outer lip is 102mm in diameter that way 1mm extends into the outline cutout. Not doing this can sometimes leave a slight onion skin between the two objects.
