Limit switches or not?

I did long time ago, just one simple hole and thread. No possibility to break Z switch again.

Alternative limit switch mounting on Z-Axis?

the Z axis plate i got in my kit didnt have the 2 small holes drilled for mounting the limit switch. is there an alternative way to mount the switch or should i just get a new z plate from inventables?
