# Help with v carve

how can i cut out a object using a 1/8 bit but use a v bit for detailing?

Place the design to be carved with the V-Bit on a separate work piece from the outline. Use one or more bits to carve the detail. On the outline work piece just use a 1/8" bit. Easel does not currently have the ability to specify a certain bit for one or more specific paths, and the outline has just always been pushed to the detail bit.
