# Grbl into X Controller

I have read on the JTech website that I need GRBL v 1.1 to run the J Tech 2.8 laser, I have downloaded it but how do I get it in to the Xcontroller, I have tried Xloader as recommended by Jtech, and it it fails all the time

what is the failure? USB lost connection? port error (wrong baud rate?) write error? other??
It should write to the controller with Xloader or you can use easel to connect and write the new firmware. go to machine/advanced/upload firmware.
