Get X Y Coordinate Numbers

Hi All

if I set the 0 coordinate on a piece how do I get X Y coordinate numbers?
in case the x-carve stopped any reason I can set back the x-care to the previous X Y coordinate again and resume my job

Do you have homing switches installed?
Without a physical reference point any X/Y coordinates location will be arbitray because the machine will assume machine zero wherever it is located at when powered up.

Homing switches allow you to syncronize machine enviroment with model enviroment.

A physical reference point are usually:

  • Homing switches
  • A 3-axis zero block
  • A reference point on the piece to be carved (can be combined with a 3-axis zero block)
