# Gantry moves when barely touched

Trying to make a second cut and changing bits the gantry moves with little effort and ruins the cut have had this happen several times. Wasting time and wood does this happen because of the update to the program in which the gantry move away from the cutting surface?

Change your grbl setting to the following  
$1=255

I also recommend switching off the 4th dip switch for each motor on the x controller as I did here.

Also open up the Xcontroller and on each of the three red “switch boxed” inside set switch #4 to OFF.
