Got my X-Carve together and did my first two projects. Both worked good, the next more “advanced” things I’ve tried I’ve failed miserably at, but I’m learning slowly! I made a sign for my wife who is a 3rd grade teacher out of Walnut, and I cut an “H” out of pine for a friend who is having a baby soon. Simple I know but was happy that I can make stuff like this real quick.
My next projects are a 2D cut puzzle that when put together is 3-D and I’ve had some ideas for Topo maps cut out as well as a 2D scene that when put together is 3D. Been having difficulty with thin stock and bits snapping on these but have a plan together for my next attack. Will share this once its not too hot out in the shop again and have made real progress.
