# Faulty Font question

Does anyone know why some fonts will not carve properly. They appear in design as they should but do not carve properly.  
Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem? Also this is my firs query and would love for anyone who reads this to simply  
say so.

If any part of the text is narrower than the bit selected Easel will leave those parts out. Is this what is going on?

possibly I bet that is the problem I will change the bit to 16th and see if the preview improves. I am new and thanks for the reply.

That was the problem Thanks . If I either make the text bigger or reduce the bit size the problem goes away. Thanks again!!
