Hi all, new here.
I am still putting my machine together and ran into a concern.
While assembling the side plates, the eccentric spacers for the wheels on two holes didn’t want to fit, they did finally go in with press fit while tightening up the bolt and nut.` they do move when a wrench is put on but it is stiff. Problem? Paint in the hole?
seems to be a small issue but don’t want to get it together and find out it wasn’t right.

I would not think that would be a problem as long as they can spin and loosen/tighten the V-Wheel as designed. Having them move over time is primarily what causes the loosening of a V-Wheel unless there some other issue and you want your V-Wheel’s snug.

You definitely want them to be snug to prevent movement in axis
